I'm Copic Certified!!!!

As of today....WOO HOO!!!!  I am so excited about being certified!  These markers are amazing!  Thanks to Nanette from Stamping Memories in Belmont, NH for sponsoring this event and to Sally Lynn MacDonald who taught all of us.  Sally is great, very entertaining and very easy to learn from.  I hope to take more classes from her in the future but if you would like to see her work; you can check out her blog:  inkyheart@typepad.com.  And Nanette has a great shop - tons of stamps (and that is an understatement!).

I took a class over at The Paper Tree in Manchester on Friday night.  It was an awesome Amuse Class taught by Jenn.  I just love Amuse stamps - they are darling!  I'll attach pictures below.

I also worked on some other cards this week - you'll see them below also.

On Friday, my husband drove to PA to finalize everything before our house goes on the market. And can you believe he was rear ended by a drunk driver, driving on an expired driver's license at 4:00 in the afternoon?!?  What is wrong with people?!?  Seriously what goes through someone's mind that says to them that it is okay to get behind the wheel after you have had several drinks.  Ken said you could smell the alcohol on the guy when he got out of the car, thank the lord this all took place in front of a cop.  Ken is fine, sore but he is dealing with it. But my poor car on the other hand has a smashed bumper and the car isn't even 6 months old.  My poor Subee...:(

I am to receive my shipment from SU on Friday - please please please let it arrive before then! I can't wait to get my hands on that new catalog!  This is my favorite time of the year as with all other demo's.  Any one else get theirs?  What is your favorite new item?

Well...I think I have rambled on enough...TTFN!

At Last....

Hi Ladies...

So sorry that I haven't been on top of this blog and our group but starting today I am officially back!

It's been a hectic few months with family emergencies, looking for a new home in New Hampshire and I lost my job in the beginning of May. So between all of that and looking for a new job and house I haven't had much time on my hands.

But here are a few items that I have worked on when I have found some time. The first is a little book made with SU Long Notes from a few books ago. It's just 3 long notes stacked inside of each other - I believe this was in a Stampin Success a year or so ago. They are so easy to make and I have sold a ton of these at shows. I actually showed a friend of mine this one and she bought it and ordered two others for gifts. Can't beat that!

The second is these clothes pins - I just love these!!! Sorry the photo is so dark! I have been trying to improve the lighting in my room, and I think I have based on some other photos I have taken.

And third...I caught Sophie in one of my boxes so I thought I would post this...too funny! I love the "who me" look on her face. This cute "little houdini" escaped out of the house last night while my husband was working on his bike. Thankfully he noticed...it was a interesting time trying to catch her and get her back in the house.

Well, hope all is well with everyone and I'll post more photos this week. I have to go place my order with SU for the new items and replace some stock...fun stuff!!!!

I'm back...

I'm back but I have nothing to post yet...

It's been a crazy few weeks so I am glad to be getting back to normal.  Is there even a normal state of mind anymore; I am beginning to think not!  Ha!

Well...ta-ta for now and I PROMISE I will post photos this week!

Sorry...

Sorry, but I will not be posting this week again....a very dear friend's father passed away very suddenly so we came back to PA to be with the family.

Once I am back in NH I will post as I was working on a few things before we left.

Enjoy your week!

I WANT CANDY...

Ha!  That's another song that will be stuck in your head for the rest of the night....LOL!!!

My hubby and I will be heading over to my BIL's house tomorrow night for dinner since we will not see them on Easter.  So I decided to make these little treat boxes for my niece and nephew. These boxes were made with a die for the Big Shot.   I'm telling you if you can swing the cost of this machine - DO IT!  You will not be disappointed; I promise!!!

After I made these, I decided to pull the Scalloped Tote Bag die out and play with it.  This is what I came up with.

And then after playing with the Big Shot; I decided to make a few Easter cards to send to friends (I know I am late in the game!).  The stamps are from AMuse.  I don't have any Easter stamps from SU; so I guess I better get some.  The white one is blank in side and then the little yellow one says "Happy Easter" inside.

Well, that's it for today.  Oh and by the way...today was a MUCH better day.  No alarms, No Falling and No dropping anything on my foot!

One of those days...

Ya know...it's one of those days.  I can't seem to get my stuff together this morning.    I fell down the stairs this morning; good thing I have some good cushioning on my behind.  Then I went to open a  stamp drawer and it fell out onto my FOOT; which led me to hop around screaming!   Then I set the alarm off answering the door which scared the daylights out of me and the fed ex guy.  The poor guy jumped about 2 feet in the air.  Too funny!

So I wonder what else is in store for me today; I may just stay inside at the rate I am going...LOL!!!

I am currently working on a new little book for my fur baby; Sophie other wise known as the Princess, because she is one spoiled cat.  I'll post some photos of her doing what she does best - sleep.

Well, stay tuned for more!
